What happens when a client clicks the unsubscribe button within email communications?
When the client clicks the unsubscribe button in an automatic email, they are directed to a page to select what they want to unsubscribe from.
Once they select which communications they do not want to receive, it will change their communication preferences in AllyDVM.
The email that they originally clicked the unsubscribe button within will be marked as unsubscribed in the communication log.
There is no way for us to track what communication preferences they selected within the communication other than looking at the communication preferences on the client's detail page.
Once a client unsubscribes from text communications, we cannot resubscribe them. The client must text the practice's SMS number with “start” to resume text communications.
