Practice Retention

How is the data calculated?
  1. The forward booking tiles and the client and pet retention tiles are all built on PDT tables (so they are aggregated at night and the data should reflect the complete previous day). The rest are built on live data.
  2. Note that if your practice recently switched Practice Management Systems, this could affect the numbers in this report depending on how their data was transferred.
  3. When a practice switches from any Practice Management System to Evet, Evet only brings over invoices posted from the last 30 days. Invoices prior to that will not be converted and only payments will show in the client's invoice posted log.
  4. The top portion of the report shows Current/Lapsing/Lapsed pet numbers for Canines and Felines. The total amounts are for all pets, so for a practice that sees animals other than Canines/Felines, they will be included in the total Pets number.
  5. Forward booking and Retention Rates numbers look to see if the pet has had any core services within the given time frame - these core services are mapped behind the scenes. If there are any issues with these numbers you can reach out to AllyDVM Support (support@allydvm.com) for a spot check on the mapping.
The Retention Stats portion looks at:
  1. Time Since Last Qualifying Visit chart - Shows the number of pets that have not been in for a qualifying visit (core services) in X time frame (3/6/9/12/15/18/over 18 months).
  1.  Past Due by Reminder Type table - Lists the number of Past Due Reminders for each given reminder type. The pet must meet the following criteria:
    1. The due date is after today.
    2. Not deceased.
    3. The last core transaction was within the past 2 years.
    4. Status is active.
    5. It is a dog or a cat.

  1. Reminder, Past Due Groups chart - Lists how many reminders are current and past due in your system.
